A New Spin on an Old-School Favorite.

Blue Ridge Skate Co. started with a pretty simple idea: Western North Carolina families deserved another place to gather, celebrate and have fun together — one that didn't feel stuck in 1994.

A few of us grew up skating. We remember the lights, the music, the smell of the floor, the way a Friday night at the rink felt like the center of the universe. We also remember how most of those old rinks eventually felt a little tired.

So we took the parts everybody loved — the floor, the lights, the music, the energy — and built something that felt like now. A cleaner rink. Better sound. A place where parents actually want to stay instead of counting the minutes.

Parents remember doing it. Kids discover why they loved it. And somehow everybody ends up back on the floor.

That's the whole thing, really. Skating works across generations in a way not much else does. A seven-year-old and a forty-year-old can both have the same good time on the same floor to the same song. We just wanted to give folks around here a place to do that again.
